While reading each of these selections, I observed a common theme among each of them. This theme involves the characters in each novel yearning for something more than they already possess, whether it's a desire for knowledge or for another character.

 

This blog will provide brief summaries of each novel our AP English IV class has read throughout this 2015-2016 school year. It also includes information about numerous literary movements that each book corresponds to.
